TST Delivers to the Channel Unique 1U Modular Blade Solution

Continues to Dominate with Truly Unmatched Cost & Power Saving Designs

City of Industry, California – February 5, 2007 – Terabytes Server Storage Technology Corp., a leading manufacturer of high-quality server & storage enclosure solutions, have created a twin modular blade 1U based around the Intel® S3000PT (Port Townsend) motherboard platform. This product, dubbed the B102PT, will complement its bigger brother, the 4U 10-blade B410PT, in TST’s lineup. Both solutions are designed for applications requiring low-power and low-cost at a high rack density count. Unlike other 1U Twin systems, the B102PT consists of 2 independent hot-swappable modular systems per enclosure. Should one blade fail and need to be shutdown for maintenance, the opposite blade will still be up and operational. This translates into an additional cost and time savings during repairs. It also translates into a significant reduction and impact from server node down time.

“The B102PT clearly demonstrates TST’s commitment to creating more intelligent products for our clientele,” said Sio Fu, CTO of TST. “These new products are eco-conscious and built with the same high-quality as our ESR line of products. TST has been able to deliver products proven to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without sacrificing on quality materials and thermal dissipation performance. Our products are guaranteed to outperform any competitors’ products available on the market today.” Due to high demand, both the B102PT and B410PT are also available with compatibility for Supermicro’s X7DBT and Arima’s NK12X motherboard platforms. These two alternative solutions can be delivered upon an OEM request. Among many, the B102PT & B410PT are perfect as a solution choice for HPC, application and web hosting, and/or redendering and streaming nodes.
