Terabytes Server Storage Tech Corp. Announces Its Support for Climate Savers Computing Initiative as a New Associate Member.

TST, a leading innovator and manufacturer of high efficiency server/storage components, is an advocate of the advancement of green technology.  While we understand the importance of preserving our world, as it is currently our only home, our products have always been specifically designed with care for environmental preservation and power conservation.  Our blade server, recognized globally, has earned awards for innovation by Intel, product design by International Forum (Europe). TST fully supports organizations like Climate Savers Computing Initiative to promote the development and use of energy-efficient products.
"As demand for HPC and storage continues to expand, the need for more efficient power solutions becomes paramount to our customers," said Sio Fu, CTO of TST. "TST's innovative B410PT and other TST storage products make it possible for large scale data centers to increase server and storage capacity while minimizing the increase or actually reduce in power consumption. Our membership in The Climate Savers Computing Initiative demonstrates our continued commitment to advancing greater energy efficiency."

The Climate Savers Computing Initiative was founded in 2007 by Google and Intel as a non-profit group of eco-conscious consumers, businesses, and conservation organizations.  Their mission is to reduce energy consumption by 50%, which equates to approximately 54 million tons of CO2 emitted per year, by 2010.  TST is on the same wavelength, as its products are already reducing energy consumption by over 50%.  Members of Climate Savers include Dell, EDS, Google, HP, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, and World Wildlife Foundation, all serving on the Board.  Sponsors include Acer, AMD, Delta Electronics, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Intuit, Lite-on Technology, Marvel, NEC, Sun, and Super Micro.
